The Cluas approach
Our home-based Sound Therapy programme is designed to address a range of developmental difficulties, including Auditory Processing Difficulties, Sensory Processing Difficulties, Speech and Language Delays, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Difficulties and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
We understand that each child is unique and faces their own set of challenges, which is why our programme is tailored to meet each child’s specific needs.
Our use of cutting-edge technology and innovative approach to Sound Therapy allows us to custom design every programme to suit each child’s specific needs, ensuring they receive the support and attention required to thrive.
Our process starts with an initial consultation to determine if our programme is the right fit for your child. If it is, we’ll create a tailored home-based programme consisting of three core stages.
Throughout the programme, we aim to provide children with the tools and support they need to overcome challenges, succeed in their environments, and thrive in their daily lives.
Initial Consultation
In a 90-120 minute session, we will evaluate your child’s eligibility for the programme by assessing their auditory processing, listening skills, and developmental profile. Prior to the appointment, we will provide a questionnaire to gain insight into your child’s distinctive profile. Using this information, we will create a tailored at-home programme that caters specifically to your child’s needs.
The Cluas Programme
Our home-based programmes are completed in three stages over four months. The programme is generally 40-60 minutes per day, however this can be increased to 90-120 minutes and is tailored to your child’s specific situation. We provide you with a detailed programme of activities and a Parent’s Guide with guidelines and activity ideas. Each stage starts and finishes with a consultation at our centre, with age-appropriate testing and a reflective meeting with the parent.
Review Sessions
We have eight review sessions in total across the programme, each lasting 45-60 minutes. Based on the review, we tailor the next stage of the programme in line with your child’s progress and specific needs.
Programme Review
This 60-minute appointment takes place 4-6 weeks after completing the three stages of the programme. We will reflect on the progress made and determine if further sessions are recommended.
