CORK Talk Saturday 3 March 2012 – Asperger’s Syndrome & Auditory Processing

For teenagers and younger children with Aspergers Syndrome, Auditory Processing Difficulties can be a significant factor in their lives. Helping to reduce these difficulties can have a dramatic effect on children’s communications, social interactions, and also their understanding and their learning.

Cluas will be holding an Open Morning and presenting a Talk on how Cluas can help teenagers and younger children with Aspergers Syndrome.

The Talk will take place on Saturday 3rd March 2012, from 10am to 12 noon.

It will be presented by:

Ronan Maher
Program Director, Cluas.

and

Louise Quinlan
Centre Manager, Cluas Cork.

Firstly, there will be a presentation starting at 10am, where we will describe how programs at Cluas can help children and teenagers with Asperger’s Syndrome. We will follow this talk with a Question and Answer session for the attendees. You will also have an opportunity to meet our staff to discuss any individual questions you have.

This open morning will give parents an opportunity to see our centre, talk with our staff and find out more about the work we do.

The Talk and the Open day will be held at Cluas Centre, Victoria Cross.
